This housing redevelopment project will be the tallest residential building in Chicopee

CHICOPEE — On Tuesday morning, Chicopee’s Facemate facelift project will become the tallest residential building in the city, officials say.

The Singing Bridge residences — a housing redevelopment project in the Chicopee Falls neighborhood — touts 105 units of mixed-income affordable housing. At 9 a.m., there will be a topping-off ceremony at the former Facemate Building on 75 West Main St.

The 4-acre site was jointly purchased by Brisa Builders Developers LLC and Sydney Capital Group LLC. Both companies are based in Brooklyn, New York, and work on affordable housing projects.
